We use fast 10K SAS hard drives which are set up in a hot swap RAID10 configuration. This means that data is stored across multiple hard drives. These hard drives can be replaced ‘hot’ whilst the server is working with no deterioration in service

Hard Drives are where your data is stored. These drives spin very fast. The ‘K’ represents the number of revolutions per minute (10K = 10,000 revolutions per minute). We use faster 10K drives which are both very fast and very reliable.

RAID stands for ‘Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks’. This is a way of using multiple physical hard drives to form one logical or virtual disk.
The advantage of this is that RAID reduces the possibility of data loss due to hardware failure. RAID10 copies data across several disks and is considered the best option in terms of speed and data integrity.

Yes. If you decide to cancel your web hosting within 30 days you are entitled to a full refund of the hosting fees. Domain names can not be refunded unfortunately as these are registered in good faith with the relevant Domain Registry.

If you are currently hosting with another company then we can migrate the files for you. If you use cPanel hosting then it is much easier and quicker.
Just contact our technical support team and they will make the necessary arrangements to migrate your hosting. You will need to update your domain name’s nameserver settings though to point to your new WizzHosting service.

Yes, we use 10K SAS hard drives rather than slower 7.2K SATA drives. We also use twin multi core CPUs and each server has plenty of RAM for accelerated performance.

You can change your domain, no problem. Just let us know the new domain name and we will make the change on the server for you. You will need to point the new domain name to the hosting service and update your email system to the new domain name.

Yes. Your domain name is 100% yours. We will register the domain name in your name or your company name. It is your property.

No. There is no advertising or banners or any mention of WizzHosting with our hosting services.

Yes. With UK domains like .co.uk you just need to order a free domain transfer and we will provide ful instructions.
With Top Level Domains (TLDs) like .com this is a chargeable service equivalent to the cost of one year’s registration fees. With TLDs once the domain has transferred to WizzHosting one year will be added to the registration period.
